The Annual Local Government GIS Coordinator Forum has been both a popular and productive venue for professionals to meet and discuss timely issues that affect local GIS. In an effort to provide additional opportunities for those in local government GIS to meet, IGIC is offering a series of brief, online town hall meetings designed to keep attendees in-touch and informed between Forums.
Summer 2010 Virtual Town Hall Meeting
The June 23rd event featured updates on the new Statewide Orthophotography Project, National Hydrography Dataset (NHD), and Data Sharing Initiative. Presenters included State Geographic Information Officer Jim Sparks, Shaun Scholer of the Richmond/Wayne County GIS Interlocal and Phil Worrall, IGIC Executive Director.
