IGIC 2015 Annual GIS Conference Update – Feb 17th

Happy Winter 2015!

Although you might not believe it, spring will be here soon, and so will IGIC’s 2015 Annual GIS Conference!

Our Conference Committee has planned another great event this year, but we could not have done it without you! The good news is that Indiana’s GIS community has been busy doing good work this winter, and there are lots of great stories to share. How do we know? Easy – we’ve already set a few new records this year – with 2 dynamite keynote presentations already locked in, receiving over 40 presentation abstracts by our original submission deadline date [that’s never happened before], and the new conference pre-registration option we made available as part of our 2015 IGIC Membership Drive was a great success.

Our regular conference registration will open soon, and our Conference Committee is still busy putting the finishing touches on our program, but we still need your help today!

Help with What? We need you to share your ideas with us, we need you to reach out to GIS students and colleagues in your community, and we need you to help identify outstanding projects and people by nominating their work for award consideration.
