Statewide orthophotography is vital to numerous state, regional and local projects. It forms the "basemap" on which utilities, emergency management, economic development and countless other maps are created.In 2005 IGIC coordinated a project to acquire the first digital statewide orthophotography for Indiana. The 2010 Orthophotography Program aims to update update that imagery.
