State of Indiana Plans to Extend Existing Ortho-LiDAR Contract for 2015

Jim Sparks, Indiana’s Geographic Information Officer announced last week that the State of Indiana’s existing Ortho-LiDAR contract with Woolpert that was originally signed back in 2011 is being extended for 1 more year, through December 2015. Sparks reports that although the State of Indiana does not have funds to use this contract in 2015, the contract will still be available to all Indiana Counties and Cities/Towns to use in 2015.  In 2014, the current Ortho-LiDAR contract with Woolpert was amended to provide updated geospatial products as well as reduced prices. Sparks also said that his office will continue to provide all contracting, product QA/QC, and product delivery services for all work contracted by local governments for 2015 through this contract.
