Transportation GIS Internship Position (Part-time, Paid Position)

Madison County Council of Governments

The Madison County Council of Governments (MCCOG) is a cooperative, county-wide planning organization, funded in part by Alexandria, Anderson, Elwood, Pendleton, and Madison County, Indiana. Our charter agreement was signed in May 1969 in recognition of the need for cross-community cooperation geared toward the solution of common problems faced throughout the Metropolitan Planning Area (MPA). MCCOG is the Title 23 federally mandated Metropolitan Planning Organization for urban transportation planning in the Anderson Urbanized area. As part of its mission, MCCOG ensures that federally-funded transportation projects coordinated through the MPO are based on a continuing, cooperative, and comprehensive (“3-C”) planning process.
