2023 IGIC Emerging Professional Research Competition

Our second IGIC Emerging Professional research competition will be hosted at the 2023 IGIC (Indiana Geographic Information Council) Annual Conference (May 10-12, Evansville).

Please submit your abstract to Dr. Yuri Kim ([email protected]). The abstract must include the title, authors with affiliation, and description of your projected (up to 250 words). 

The things we already know -- Many talented young GIS scholars have been enriching our Indiana GIS community. Meet your fellows and celebrate emerging GIS professionals' contemporary work!

Important Timeline:

  • April 21: Deadline to submit your abstract
  • April 28: Announcing invited speakers

Prizes:

  • 1st Place: $150
  • 2nd Place: $100
  • 3rd Place: $50

When: May 11 between 10am and noon (CDT)

Where: Old National Events Plaza, Locust BE
