IndianaMap Webinar – Accessing, Downloading, & Streaming Data – August 21st

Staff from the Indiana Geographic Information Office will be holding a webinar on August 21st, 2023 at 12 pm about the IndianaMap.

This webinar is intended for GIS users who utilize desktop or web-based software and are comfortable using local GIS files and/or streaming web services into their software of choice. A webinar focused on the IndianaMap Map Viewer that may be of interest to the wider community will be held this fall.

This session will focus on browsing, searching, filtering, downloading, and streaming GIS data from indianamap.org. Users can expect to learn how to search for and select a dataset of interest, how generating output files works on the new platform, how to filter records of interest before downloading, and how to use the API Explorer to generate a custom queried web service URL with output parameters.
